Connecting with the York University ASD Coordinator

Raymond Peart, the ASD Coordinator meets with prospective students and their families who are thinking about or have either registered with York University.  Raymond will sit down to discuss support options available to students once they start at York. Families and school  are encouraged to contact the ASD Coordinator if they have general questions about the transition to postsecondary.  In-person appointments can be arranged by emailing  Or feel free to contact Raymond directly.

“One of the key components of the transition program is to connect students, families and their supports (e.g., high schools) to information that is clear, helpful and transparent. My role is not only to assist students in preparing for their transition to postsecondary but schools and families, whose role and support in a student’s success is often overlooked.  We honour that relationship by making sure those existing supports understand the culture students are entering.”
