Our summer programs are designed to prepare students for their first year by focusing on  development in the following areas:

  • Anxiety reduction;
  • Social communication;
  • Academic and institutional navigation (online and offline); and
  • Self-advocacy.

The Connection Meeting is a time for students and their parents to meet with their Disability Counsellor before the start of classes.

The Monthly Orientation Session is a time for follow up and feedback, a year after the student has begun at York and is registered with Learning Disability Services (LDS).
